recently named Ian Chin, the former General Manager of Myrice.com, as President
and COO.
Chin has more than 10 years of management experience in internet, technology & innovation management, media as well as SMEA's business incubation with companies and organizations such as Myrice.com, National Chung Hsing University (Taiwan), and others. When Chin was the general manager of Myrice.com he successfully integrated various popular personal websites into a unified brand. Chin was also recognized as the key person who assisted Myrice.com's board on the sale of Myrice.com to LycosAsia, a joint venture of Terra Lycos and Singapore Telecom.
Prior to joining Wealink.com, Chin was the former incubator manager from Taiwan's most outstanding business incubator¨D¨DIINCHU, where Chin consulted with over 40 high tech start-ups to develop new markets and revenue models through innovative technologies and creative marketing strategies. During his tenure there, he led the university based incubator to become Taiwan's 'Incubator of the year', five years in a row since 2002. In view of his accomplishments, Chin was accredited 'Manager of the year' in 2005 by the Taiwan authorities.
Chin's determination of devoting himself into the internet industry once again displays his strong belief in the bright prospect of Web 2.0.
